Sr. VP, Global Marketing - Northeast
He/she will be responsible for developing the Domestic and International Marketing plans and for all aspects of Marketing including Customer Service, in order to successfully implement said plans. It is essential that this individual interact closely with Operations and R&D to ensure that the Product Development process is in step with the overall company strategy and the Marketing plans. The candidate must not only possess excellent Marketing skills, but also have the energy and personality to create and maintain close relationships with the customer base. Due to our client’s rapid growth and fast pace the candidate must be unflappable under pressure.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with the President to develop the overall strategy.
• Develop US and International Marketing plans.
• Manage Customer Service.
• Execute Marketing plans including forecasting, advertising, promotion, pricing to all channels to achieve revenue and income targets.
• Work closely with VP of Sales to support selling organization and achieve sales targets.
• Communicate strategies and plans to the sales force.
• Develop and manage budgets supporting approved plans.
• Effectively track success metrics of marketing programs.
• Manage, support, coach and mentor staff.
• Work closely, building strong relationships with the customer base.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 10+ years Marketing in Life Sciences, preferably Medical Device.
• Worked in a company financed with private equity.
• Previous global Marketing experience.
• Previous experience leading a Marketing Group.
• Able to handle a fast paced, highly flexible environment in a high growth company.
• Experience in both large and small companies.
