QUALIFICATIONS:
“Must Haves”
• Ph.D. in Analytical Biochemistry, Biochemical Pharmacology, Molecular Cell Biology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Track record working in cutting edge technology including protein and lipid biochemistry, proteomics and genomics.
• Adept in model development.
• Management experience
• The candidate must be able to take ownership of an idea, champion the cause, defend the concept scientifically and promote it to a final conclusion which in the end game is to get a product to market.
“Wants”
• Publication record.
• Experience with animal models.
• Work in a Biomedical field but does not have to be in eye care.
• Accurate and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in the use of standard IT programs.
“Wish”
• Inventor or co-inventor on several patents.
• Active network of colleagues.
