Vice President, Clinical Development - Southwest
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The Vice President of Clinical Development will be responsible for overseeing the Clinical Development Group, leading them to take candidate drugs from Phase I to Phase III and into the marketplace. This position holds high levels of responsibilities and interacts with all sections of the company. This position sits on multiple decision-making committees and he/she will be a core executive on the team. The duties will be far ranging but the core focus will be to continue to lead a drug development group that has already demonstrated success, into ever more challenges and successes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• M.D. from U.S., Canadian, or major U.K. medical school with board certification in a medical sub-specialty and/or internal medicine.
• Actively engaged in IND and NDA filings, or their ex-U.S. equivalents, including personal interaction with regulatory agencies.
• 5-10 years industry-based Clinical Drug Development experience in Pharmaceutical or Biotech companies with a track record of success.
